Overview

The Danish Immigration Service (SIRI) manages residence permits for studies, work, and family reunification. Students from outside the EU/EEA must secure a residence permit before travelling to Denmark. Short visits are covered by Schengen visas issued by Danish embassies or VFS Global.

Application Steps

  1. 1. Create case order ID

    Register on SIRI website and obtain case order ID for your application.

  2. 2. Pay application fee

    Pay DKK 1,890 application fee online via SIRI portal.

  3. 3. Complete ST1 form

    University completes part 1; you complete parts 2-3 with personal information and upload supporting documents.

  4. 4. Book biometrics appointment

    Schedule appointment at Danish embassy in Rabat or VFS Global centre to provide fingerprints and photo.
